Living An Abundant Life

This past year God has answered so many of my prayers, and He has lead me on so many new adventures. I have been able to improve on myself through self-development training, reading, podcasts, and so much more. I have traveled to Salt Lake City, UT for Convention in June last year and was able to experience to thrill of being a part of something so big! I have met some amazing new friends, many of whom will become life-long friends as we share some of the most amazing traits and interests. We have met through my books and or through our love of Young Living Essential Oils and products. You see God is blessing my business and He is sending me all like-mind people. Every person I have met through my business has been spiritual, and that is how I know God is sending them to me. All of the people on my team who are doing the business are believers and we can all recognize His work in our lives every day.

When I first started with Young Living in November of 2016 my commission was $52 dollars. In November 2017, I earned $813.00 and am very close to hitting my next rank within the business. When I rank up next, my commission will almost double instantly and then it will continue to increase. You know how when you start saving money in your IRA or 401k, the more money you have, the more money you make? Well, the larger my team grows, the faster it grows, and when my team grows my commission grows. I have big goals. They call this a 4-year career for a reason. You have to work hard at it for the first couple of years and then it gets easier. You are making residual money, and that money is also willable to your children or family. Once you have a team working and everyone is growing, it happens faster and faster and everyone grows more and more.

The harder you work, the faster you grow. Naysayers call it a pyramid scheme, but every company is a pyramid scheme if you think about – even your corporate companies out there. But with Young Living, by helping the leaders under you grow, you grow. And if you slack off, and those leaders under you are working harder than you – guess what, they will pass you right up! They will be earning more commission than you! You get rewarded for your hard work, and you can be promoted based on your hard work. Those of you working in the corporate world right now know this is not possible in your company and if you’re lucky you might get a 3% Raise, if the company did well, and if your boss rates you above average.

Knowing the fact that I can make thousands of dollars in a single month doing what I love gives me so much incentive to keep pushing forward! I encourage you to jump on my Energy Bus and together we can take it to the top of that Mountain!

God is Directing My Path

Last year after my heart attack, which was all due to stress, I had even more stress and anxiety as a result of almost losing my life. I remember screaming in my head, “God I am not ready to Die!” He gave me that second chance and I thank Him every day for that! Since then, I have prayed for Him to give me a way to help to supplement our health and our income so eventually we could relieve some of our stress.

If you’ve been following me, you know Mom and I have been writing for years and that has been our ultimate dream and goal in life. During my recovery period after that heart-attack is when I was writing my second book, “Break Down Your Walls: Be the Person God Created … Be a Better You!” While I was writing that book, is when I was praying and it felt like I was praying the entire time I was writing. It also seemed that He was giving me the words to write, as He usually does. It was two weeks later when Young Living came into my life. At first, I had no intention of selling Young Living. After all, I just had a heart attack, was preparing to go back to the same stressful job, and certainly couldn’t take on another project at that time. However, as soon as it dawned on me that Young Living could be the answer to my prayers, my thought process immediately changed, as did my life! I knew without a doubt that this was God’s answer for me I have given it my all ever since. Young Living has changed me and my ways in so many different aspects. I couldn’t be happier. I thoroughly enjoy sharing and helping other people realize the benefits of essential oils and how they too can change their lives physically, emotionally, and spiritually! I do this through my inspirational writing as I have been doing for years, and now I also am able to share the love of oils and how they can help support our emotions, stress levels, health, and overall wellness!

Gratitude Fills My Heart

I was wondering what I could blog about and it became so clear to me, because I have so much to be thankful for. God gave me a second chance at life. He took control of my life and forced me to take the time I needed to rest, to heal, to grow, and to become a better person…the person He created me to be!

As I sit here looking at this rock and the word Gratitude, it means so much because I am grateful for so much in my life right now. I truly feel as if I am in the middle of such a pivotal point in my life. I’m 54 years young, happily married, and have a wonderful family. I have my health back, and I am conquering stress. While it will always be a challenge, I feel like I finally have it all figured out. Sometimes, I have to remind myself to give it to God and listen to my own words and remember that we can only change our reactions. We can’t change people or situations, and worrying about it, isn’t going to change anything! You see, after my heart attack last year and all the soul searching and self-development I went through, I now feel like I have a secret and I want to share it with the world.

My second book, Break Down Your Walls: Be the Person God Created You to Be … Be a Better You!, is allowing me to share that secret and I couldn’t be happier. It’s only be out for a couple of weeks and I have already received messages from people saying how much they’ve enjoyed it and they are now buying more for their friends and family! I have received so many good blessings and I know that this is just going to continue more and more as I continue to plant seeds of healing greatness.

Many of you may know that it’s always been my mission to inspire other people to become a better version of themselves – emotionally, physically, and spiritually and I couldn’t be happier than to be blessed with this dream! God gave me this dream many, many, years ago and now I am living it out. I know it is only going to get better, and I couldn’t be happier! I’ve been saying for a while now, “the time is now”, and that is where this pivotal point comes in! I truly believe I am in the midst of something so big it almost feels like a dream at times. How can you love what you are doing so much that it is all you want to do? That’s how I feel right now! I’ve always been a leader and not a follower, and now I am leading a group of other leaders on their own journey….this journey is what we call, the Young Living journey!

You see, everything I learned after my heart attack led me to Young Living. I haven’t even been with Young Living for a whole year, and yet I feel like I have grown a whole other family that I’ve known for years! We support each other and want everyone to grow together! We are all ranking up so quickly in this business because Essential Oils are a critical part to our overall wellness. Essential Oils have been around for over 23 years now, and we all Gary & Mary Young to thank for that! Essential Oils have become so prevalent in today’s current society that everyone is turning to a more natural way of living and looking at other healthier, cleaner, alternatives to living a better life.

This new family I have come to love means the world to me, and everyone on my team is now my extended family. I want the best for them and can’t wait to help them make their own dreams come true as well! We are in this journey together and together we will inspire others to become a better version of themselves – emotionally, physically, and spiritually – and Young Living Essential Oils and my inspirational writing, is going to make this happen – not only for me, but for my extended family as well! Everyone likes to hear that they are doing a great job at work or whatever it is they are doing, right? At your workplace, whether someone is doing great or someone is doing bad, word of mouth travels, right? I’ve found the answer to this is definitely a YES! Obviously, the good word spreading could lead to a raise, or a promotion and a lifetime of appreciation and a career to be proud of!

In today’s world, there are so many authors out there that we have to compete with and technology has made it even harder to compete. Anyone can self-publish a book these days pretty inexpensively and get it posted to Amazon for distribution. Offering Value

Everyone is struggling with something. For some it might seem like an easy task, but to others it may be the one thing that stops them in their tracks. We are all different, and we all have our breaking point. You see God didn’t say life was going to be easy and that we wouldn’t face challenges. It is those challenges though that make us stronger! Especially, when being strong is the only choice you have.

Look at the picture and just imagine….what if that next little duckling nudged the first duckling, wouldn’t it take some pressure off that first duckling? Of course it would! Now, look back at what you’ve been struggling with. Try to imagine if someone had shared their story with you about how they overcame that same struggle, wouldn’t their trymph have helped you in taking your next step? Sometimes, the struggle is real and we don’t want other people to know we are struggling, right? We think we are invisible. We think we can do anything, but what we are doing wrong is trying to do it ourselves!

When I started sharing my story and my mom’s story, it amazed me how many people were dealing with the same struggles or knew someone that was. It can be such an invigorating moment when you learn to be vulnerable and that vulnerability was the source of breaking that affliction for someone else. Someone you just met, and it was your vulnerability that allowed them to be vulnerable as well. When that happens, it feels like you could talk for hours with that person and when you leave it is as though you’ve known them all your life! The impact you left on that person can last a lifetime, even though you may never speak to that person again, and that is an amazing feeling!

By sharing our stories, someone out there will know they are not alone in their struggles. They are not weak. There is nothing wrong with them. They are just in the midst of an opportunity to become stronger. To become a better person. To become the person God made them to be. So the next time you are faced with a challenge, look at that challenge as a chance to improve, a chance to learn something new, a chance to advance to the next level! You see God has a plan for all of us, and until we meet our destiny, we need to rely on Him. He puts people in our path for a reason. That reason might be for them to help us, or us to help them. It works both ways – just know, it’s all for a reason! And if we stray the wrong way, God will point us yet again in the right direction because ultimately, He wants the best for us and only the best!

Talking to God and thanking him for everything every single day is what gets me through those challenges and obstables and I am so grateful for the learning season. That’s all it is, is a season. There is a reason and a season for everything. Some of us will pass the test and some will take longer. It’s up to us, our attitude, our ability to step out of comfort zone and be vulnerable, our willingness to offer value to a stranger, and our ability to trust in God!

What’s your story? What’s your struggle? Whatever it is – you are not alone! God is always with you. He is that voice in your head you hear whispering for you to do something – all you need to do is listen and follow his lead!

My Story – Could Be Your Story – Stress – Avoid It!

Stress is something that everyone has to deal with in their lives. Some have more to deal with than others, but everyone has a story to tell. You can look at a person, you may even know the person, but you might never know the stress they are dealing with; the stress they had to deal with it; or the story they are keeping buried deep down inside for fear of judgement. I have a story to share, that will leave you wanting to hear so much more. It’s a story of stress, horrific suffering, survival, self-discovery, and learning to live a better life!

Get Out of Your Comfort Zone and Walk With God!

Mom and I both have been receiving signs from God for many years, and as more and more time goes by, the more we are receiving these signs. We feel blessed to be able to recognize these signs and when we ACT on them, the reward is so great! We are now able to visualize all of the pieces of our puzzles coming together and the puzzle is becoming clearer and clearer to both of us. The struggles and challenges we’ve been through in our lifetimes has all been for a reason. Those reasons are even becoming clearer and we are learning to deal with the emotional baggage that those struggles and challenges have layed on our hearts.

It took a lot of soul searching, self-development, and long talks with God but He led us to finding a way to deal with our stress and emotions so that we could do His Will. We now understand that in order for us to live our dream, we must get out of our comfort zone. When we do, we are reaching for God’s hand and know that with him holding our hands, we can do anything!

“Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. “You of little faith,” he said, “why did you doubt?” Matthew 14:31

I have a funny feeling this will be one of my next books! God put that dream in my heart just the other week after church!
