It’s All About Faith!

Many years ago, a baby girl was conceived unbeknownst to her Daddy. A daddy who, at the time, was only a young teenager. Her mommy was forced to put the baby up for adoption. They did what they had to do to get the adoption to go through without the father’s signature and this beautiful little girl was adopted. We all have a story to tell, and I believe Faith has an amazing story of courage, love, faith, and respect – despite everything she’s been through.

Fast forward 20 years, and with all the talk about DNA testing and DNA Ancestory, Faith decided to give God a chance to answer her prayers. Prayers that maybe one day she would be able to find maybe a brother or sister or even a cousin. She had no idea of what the results would turn up, but she desperately wanted to feel like she belonged to a family.

I couldn’t be more excited to share with you all this beautiful picture of my brother and the daughter he always wanted and never knew about! I haven’t seen him smile this much. She has brought so much laughter and sunshine into our lives in such a short period of time. Faith now has a true sense of family and belonging like she’s never felt before. This is definitely not the end of her story and I’ve hardly scratched the surface of what could definitely be a movie in the making! As you can see from the picture, Faith, is the spitting image of her father and the similiarities we are finding between her and all of us is mind boggling to say the least!

God always has a plan and we just have to trust in his timing.

We are all ecstatic that the time is now, but we have alot of catching up to do!

“Fragrance” could be one of the most dangerous words in the English language when it’s found in an ingredient list. The word “fragrance” or “parfum” may actually refer to a blend of many undisclosed ingredients all bundled up under the umbrella of one word. In order to protect trade secrets, fragrance gets a free pass from full disclosure. This outdated regulation, designed to conceal ingredients from the eyes of corporate competitors, now does the same for consumers who are inclined to scan labels for harmful ingredients. In 2015, the International Fragrance Association released a master list of more than 3,999 chemicals used by most manufacturers. The list includes carcinogens, endocrine disruptors, reproductive toxicants and numerous allergens (to name a few). A fragrance can be made up of any combination of these harmful chemicals that are absorbed rapidly when inhaled or when they come in contact with our skin.

Trashing your favorite scented products (lotions, scented candles and wax melts, air fresheners, shampoo, etc.) may be a sacrifice at first, but you won’t regret tossing these things. This transition is simple with essential oils! Of course essential oils are much more than just scents, but fortunately, so many of them smell awesome! Get rid of those scented toxins and start experimenting with your diffuser! It’s Time to Let Your Insecurities Go!

We all have them. We all struggle with letting go our fears, anxieties, inabilities, weaknesses, temptations, and so many other feelings that are holding us back from our destiny. This morning during my quiet time with God, He gave me the inspiration to be vulnerable and to share what this means for me. Each one of us is different and walking our own journey. That’s right, we all have a story to tell. Some of us just hide our story all too well so that others have no clue of the struggles we are dealing with. We all would prefer to paint that perfect picture on social media, but that’s not real life.

Real life, is pain, suffering, frustration, fear, and lots of crazy emotions. Emotions can build up over time and affect our health in so many harmful ways. Take my heart attack for example. My stress and anxieties built up over years and then when I suddenly took on too much work stress, my body couldn’t take any more and my heart literally started to shut down. Since then, I have learned ways to better manage my stress, but we are all humans and we continue to deal with stressful situations that are beyond our control.

We need to recognize our insecurities and how they present themselves to us individually. For me, my chest gets tight and suddently I am found rubbing my chest to calm myself. Last night is one of those nights. This morning, I took some extra quiet time with God talking to Him and sharing my anxieties. We need to give Him all of our fears and let Him take that burden from us. We also need to find other behaviors that we can adapt into our daily lives that help us better manage our stress. May that is through meditation, yoga, spiritual readings, etc. For me, it’s a combination of several things.

Let’s take last night for example, I was sitting in my recliner and noticed I was trying to calm my inner stressors when it dawned on me to go some of my essential oils. If you’ve been following me, you know how much these oils have helped me balance my emotions and keep me spiritually grounded as well. The first oils I went for were Release, Acceptance, Grounding, and Stress Away. Within minutes I started to relax and I could no longer feel the pounding heartbeat or the knot in my chest, and I was breathing much easier.

Release helps me let go of negative thoughts and feelings.

Acceptance helps stimulate the mind to open up and accept new things in life.

Grounding helps keep me grounded so I can deal with reality in a more logical and peaceful manner. It’s great for emotional and spiritually grounding.

You’ve Got 30 Second – What Do You Say?

We all know how important it is to have our ‘WHY’ documented and drilled down so far that it almost makes us cry, right? It needs to really light a fire within us. It needs to keep us motivated to keep moving forward even when we can’t see the next step. If you don’t know your ‘WHY’ yet, I urge you to work on that. Keep asking yourself, ‘WHY’! Why do you want to do what you are doing? Why?, Why? And eventually, you will get to the root of your why!

Once you know your why, picture yourself in an elevator with a stranger and you only have ten floors between you and your departure. The stranger greets you good morning, and asks you, “What do you do?” This is your chance to WOW them! Your elevator speech needs to be short (30 seconds short), to the point, and make them want to stay on the elevator so they can hear more or at least exchange contact info!

GET OUT OF THE BACK ROW!

Get out of your comfort zone. Get out of the boat, and dance on water with God!

Last night at Bible Study, I met an amazing leader and I know that she will play a role in my success in making my biggest dream come true! In fact, she already has! She and I have alot in common and I know once we find time to meet and get to know each other, the similarities will grow. How do I know this? God brought her into my life for a reason!

You see, the first day my best friend and I decided to check out this new Church called Lifepoint, and we sat in the audience in awe, the music and the people drew us both in. I felt the music in my very soul, I felt His presence in my heart and felt as if my heart was beating stronger as a result. I knew in that moment that this Church would become a part of me. I told my friend, Karen, that one day I will be standing on that stage.

This is basically the same message that this amazing leader spoke about last night! She talked about how she sat in the back row of this very same church when God spoke to her and gave her the same dream and she followed His every move to be that leader on stage speaking for God! I had to meet her! I didn’t hesitate, not even for one second, to walk up to her and introduce myself. Years ago, I never would have done such a thing. I was too shy, too intimidated, too scared. But ever since God directed me and placed that desire in my heart to write my first book, “Signs from God”, He has constantly urged me to get out of my comfort zone and put my faith in Him! I’ve taken that chance every time and I know that one day, I too, will be on that stage dancing with God!

Everyone has a life to live; everyone has a job to do in this life. So live your life, but take some time to really think about what your purpose is in this life. How can you help other people? How can you help spread God’s Love? Is it through healing? Is it through your music? Is it through teaching? Is it through serving? There are so many different ways we can do God’s work. Spend time with God and He will lead you. Ask for His help and He will guide you. Believe in His timing and know that He is with you and loves you unconditionally, all the time. He will help you get out of your comfort zone. He will bring the people into your life, at the right time, to ensure you have everything you need to be successful. God wants you to step out of that boat; out of your comfort zone; away from safety, and put your trust in Him! He not only wants you to walk on water like Peter, He wants us to Dance on Water with Him!

Start speaking life and purpose so that you feel it in your soul! You are meant to make a difference in this lifetime! With God’s help you can do anything you set your mind to! Here’s a picture I had taken after a Young Living conference when I knew that one day I would be up on a stage, bigger than this one, speaking about stress, anxiety, depression, and Miracles and how Young Living and the Lord changed my life!

Can You Relate?

News FLASH!

For all you ladies over 50, you’ll probably be able to relate….and I’m going to be put it out there just how it is….just because this is real! For all you women who haven’t hit this wonderful age yet, you will and someday you will be able to relate 😅😃😂

When we were teenagers and just hitting puberty, we thought the world was going to end because 😯OMG ‘do I have anything on the back of my pants?’ was always the big topic in the school hallways.😱😰 Then years later, we fall in love, get pregnant, have to deal with morning sickness, and OMG the pain of childbirth.👶🤬 Worse yet, you can’t get pregnant and have to go through test after test and needle after needle, etc.

Then finally, our children are grown and gone and we think yes, finally a good night sleep of no worrying, no phone calls in the middle of the night, ‘Mom, can you pick me up’ or worse yet. You start to settle in…and then one night OMG…you are laying there in bed and you think to yourself, ‘did i wet the bed’? and you feel your underwear and it’s soak, the bed is soaked, but your not sweating. Your chest is dry, so you can’t be sweating, OMG please tell me I didn’t wet the bed.😱 This is awful. So you get up, you go to the bathroom and you literally smell your underwear. 😩🤫😷And with a huge sigh of relief you realize you didn’t have an accident and even though you are the only one who knows, you are so embarrassed.😔🙁 What if HE thinks I wet the bed? 🤔😮You change your underwear, you lay a towel down on the bed because…..well, it’s soaked and you don’t want to lay in that, right? You try to slip back into bed without him waking, cause lord you don’t want him to know you had your first Night Sweat!

Yes, the first of many to come. So this is what they were talking about. Then suddenly those night sweats turn into hot flashes during the day and it feels like you are an oven turned to 400 degrees on the inside and moving to Alaska sounds pretty awesome. So what do you do now?🤔🙄

I’ll tell you what I do and would love to know what you do! First, I thank God I found Young Living and have my oils to turn to in moments like these! Endoflex and Lady Schlerol have become my best friends and so has the Lavaderm Misting Spray! Some swear by Progesterone Plus, but I experienced some mood changes with that. I think I may have used too much of it so need to try a smaller application before I totally rule that one out! I apply EndoFlex to my ankles in the morning, and Lady Schlerol at night on sankles and wrists and back of neck. I always keep Lavaderm in my purse for those occassional spikes in temperature so its handy at all times. I wish I could say I haven’t had an issue since, but I can say it hasn’t been as bad or as often. Thank you Young Living!❤️❤️❤️
