This is an understatement for me and when I saw this post I knew immediately I needed to elaborate a little on why!
God never said life wasn’t going to be hard, but He did say He would always be there for us and He would get us through. My relationship with God these past two years has grown tremendously, especially after my heart attack in 2016. He has given me so many signs over the years, but these last two years His prescense has been more and more visible to me through His Signs. I now know that with Him, I can get through anything.
Change has to come from us though, because we can’t change anyone else. We can only change our reactions. We have to learn what our limits are; our priorities; and, what we are willing to endure. Change is not easy and I think everyone would agree on that! With change there are lots of emotional battles fighting the change, which can lead to depression and living through some of the toughest decisions you will ever have to make or are forced to live through. Again, God never said life would be easy.
I can say though, that God has brought me this far, and God will get me through. He has shown me so many signs, left me so many messages that I feeled totally blessed to have been able to recognize. Again, this morning He took me back to my very own book, “Break Down Your Walls: Be the Person God Created You to Be…Be a Better You!”, and it was my very own words that got me through my morning prayers and reconfirmed His Will for me and lightened my soul knowing that I am taking the right path….His path for what I need right now.
This journey so far, for sure, has been eye-opening and the signs I have received …. absolutely unforgettable!!!
Get out of your comfort zone. Get out of the boat, and dance on water with God!
Last night at Bible Study, I met an amazing leader and I know that she will play a role in my success in making my biggest dream come true! In fact, she already has! She and I have alot in common and I know once we find time to meet and get to know each other, the similarities will grow. How do I know this? God brought her into my life for a reason!
You see, the first day my best friend and I decided to check out this new Church called Lifepoint, and we sat in the audience in awe, the music and the people drew us both in. I felt the music in my very soul, I felt His presence in my heart and felt as if my heart was beating stronger as a result. I knew in that moment that this Church would become a part of me. I told my friend, Karen, that one day I will be standing on that stage.
This is basically the same message that this amazing leader spoke about last night! She talked about how she sat in the back row of this very same church when God spoke to her and gave her the same dream and she followed His every move to be that leader on stage speaking for God! I had to meet her! I didn’t hesitate, not even for one second, to walk up to her and introduce myself. Years ago, I never would have done such a thing. I was too shy, too intimidated, too scared. But ever since God directed me and placed that desire in my heart to write my first book, “Signs from God”, He has constantly urged me to get out of my comfort zone and put my faith in Him! I’ve taken that chance every time and I know that one day, I too, will be on that stage dancing with God!
Everyone has a life to live; everyone has a job to do in this life. So live your life, but take some time to really think about what your purpose is in this life. How can you help other people? How can you help spread God’s Love? Is it through healing? Is it through your music? Is it through teaching? Is it through serving? There are so many different ways we can do God’s work. Spend time with God and He will lead you. Ask for His help and He will guide you. Believe in His timing and know that He is with you and loves you unconditionally, all the time. He will help you get out of your comfort zone. He will bring the people into your life, at the right time, to ensure you have everything you need to be successful. God wants you to step out of that boat; out of your comfort zone; away from safety, and put your trust in Him! He not only wants you to walk on water like Peter, He wants us to Dance on Water with Him!
Start speaking life and purpose so that you feel it in your soul! You are meant to make a difference in this lifetime! With God’s help you can do anything you set your mind to! Here’s a picture I had taken after a Young Living conference when I knew that one day I would be up on a stage, bigger than this one, speaking about stress, anxiety, depression, and Miracles and how Young Living and the Lord changed my life!
I can’t tell you how many times I have strayed away from my dedicated time with God because of my own desire to spend my time more productively doing the things I feel I must do. Yet, every time I come back to that quiet place talking with God and being present with Him, I am always amazed. It’s as if He knows, and He does, exactly where I leave off and when I will pick back up again!
This morning was one of those days. It is my desire to start my day with God because I know that is the best way to stay intuned with Him, His desires, and His Will for my life. Then, it is the evil one who tempts me into wondering what’s happening on Facebook or who responded to my messages, etc. Once I give in to the distraction, it just spirals into my day and God is left waiting for me to return. I always return in the evening in prayer, but had I started my day with Him instead, the result would have been so much greater!
You see, as we grow in our desire to please Him above all else, we gain strength to resist these distractions. It is a daily battle, but if we stick with God, we can’t go wrong – for God is the way! For me, it’s as if He answers my prayers almost immediately at times. I always give Him the praise and express my gratitude towards Him because without Him it would not be possible! I give Him thanks first, and then I let Him know what it is I need. I always ask Him to bring the right people into my life to help me do His Will!
If you are lucky enough to know in your heart what His Will is for you, then you are truly blessed. He has a plan for all of us and He gave each of us a Gift that we are capable of blessing so many with. For me, every since I was a young child, He placed a dream in my heart to be an Author. I never thought that would happen in a million years, but He had a plan. You’ve heard though that it will happen in His Timing, that is so true. I had tried earlier to attempt writing a book, but nothing ever happened. His plan for me was to write spiritual inspirational stories and that plan took time. It took Him putting me into situations where I could learn what I needed to learn before I was actually ready. He placed certain people in my path that would help me. He led me in the right direction and reguided my steps when I took the wrong path. Nothing will stop His Plan, though it may take you much longer to get there when you are not listening and following His lead.
Now that I know this, when I pray, He answers me. I, though, have to be open and patient to recognizing His words, His plan, and His timing. I do this in knowing and believing in Him and Him alone! For His Spirit is always with me, and He can do amazing things! He has blessed me in so many ways and I know that the best is yet to come! He gave me a second chance at life. He allowed me to heal inside and out after a heart attack last year. Now, through my writing, I am able to help so many others who are struggling as well.
Now, He is working for me to put me in a situation where I can begin to grow my following in a manner that will allow me to dedicate more and more of my time on His Will. I have found that His Will for me is inspiring others to become a better person, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. I was wondering what I could blog about and it became so clear to me, because I have so much to be thankful for. God gave me a second chance at life. He took control of my life and forced me to take the time I needed to rest, to heal, to grow, and to become a better person…the person He created me to be!
As I sit here looking at this rock and the word Gratitude, it means so much because I am grateful for so much in my life right now. I truly feel as if I am in the middle of such a pivotal point in my life. I’m 54 years young, happily married, and have a wonderful family. I have my health back, and I am conquering stress. While it will always be a challenge, I feel like I finally have it all figured out. Sometimes, I have to remind myself to give it to God and listen to my own words and remember that we can only change our reactions. We can’t change people or situations, and worrying about it, isn’t going to change anything! You see, after my heart attack last year and all the soul searching and self-development I went through, I now feel like I have a secret and I want to share it with the world.
My second book, Break Down Your Walls: Be the Person God Created You to Be … Be a Better You!, is allowing me to share that secret and I couldn’t be happier. It’s only be out for a couple of weeks and I have already received messages from people saying how much they’ve enjoyed it and they are now buying more for their friends and family! I have received so many good blessings and I know that this is just going to continue more and more as I continue to plant seeds of healing greatness.
Many of you may know that it’s always been my mission to inspire other people to become a better version of themselves – emotionally, physically, and spiritually and I couldn’t be happier than to be blessed with this dream! God gave me this dream many, many, years ago and now I am living it out. I know it is only going to get better, and I couldn’t be happier! I’ve been saying for a while now, “the time is now”, and that is where this pivotal point comes in! I truly believe I am in the midst of something so big it almost feels like a dream at times. How can you love what you are doing so much that it is all you want to do? That’s how I feel right now! I’ve always been a leader and not a follower, and now I am leading a group of other leaders on their own journey….this journey is what we call, the Young Living journey!

Anyone can self-publish a book these days pretty inexpensively and get it posted to Amazon for distribution. The thing is that if you aren’t getting the hits, likes, and purchases to your book, that the algorithms don’t move your book up for easier reviewing. The more hits and reviews you receive though, the higher up your book moves in the ranking.
